Celebration Johnstown!
As the first decade of the new millennium draws to a close, it is with the return of a Johnstown, PA tradition—the family-friendly New Year’s Eve bash known as “Celebration Johnstown!”. Stationed at multiple venues in downtown Johnstown, the event provides an alcohol-free environment from which to celebrate the arrival of the New Year.
From 6:00PM to 10:00PM this New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2009) revelers will be treated to free entertainment, festive surroundings, and food and refreshments from several downtown churches and the Cambria County Library.
Throughout the evening carriage rides will provide the public with a classic tour of our downtown streets. The evening will cap off with a fireworks display scheduled to begin at 9:45PM.
