As the first decade of the new millennium draws to a close, it is with the return of a Johnstown, PA tradition—the family-friendly New Year’s Eve bash known as Celebration Johnstown! Stationed at several venues in downtown Johnstown, the event provides an alcohol-free environment from which to celebrate the arrival of the New Year.

From 6:00PM to 10:00PM this New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2009) revelers will be treated to free entertainment, a festive environment, and food and refreshments from many of the downtown churches.

Throughout the evening carriage rides will provide the public with a classic tour of our downtown streets. The evening will cap off with a fireworks display scheduled to begin at 9:45PM.
